Enrollment & Admissions
Is your school really tuition-free? How much does it cost?
Yes — Lincoln Park Academy is a 100% tuition-free public charter school. There is no cost to apply, enroll, or attend.
Who can attend? Do I have to live in a certain area?
Any Ohio student may apply, regardless of home address. As a public charter school, we're open to all families — no district boundaries and no entrance exam.
How do I enroll my child?
Enrolling is quick and free:
- Complete the online enrollment form at our school's apply page
- Call (216) 263-7008 and press 1
- Or stop by the school office — we're happy to walk you through it in person. Schedule a tour
Is enrollment open right now?
Yes — we're now enrolling for the current school year. You can apply anytime at our school's apply page.
What documents do I need to enroll?
You'll need: proof of student identity (birth certificate) and guardianship if required, proof of residency, a parent/guardian photo ID, and immunization/vaccination records.
How do I submit my enrollment documents?
Choose whatever's easiest:
- Email them to admissions@accelschools.com
- Text a photo to (216) 208-5052
- Call the Enrollment Team at (216) 250-1200
- Or drop them off in person at the school office
What is the cutoff age for kindergarten?
A child must turn 5 on or before the first day of school to start kindergarten. Lincoln Park Academy also welcomes children who turn 5 by December 31 through Early Entrance — see our About page.
Is there a waitlist if a grade is full?
Lincoln Park Academy accepts students as space allows. If a grade reaches capacity, we'll add your child to a waitlist and contact you as soon as a seat opens. To join the waitlist, submit an enrollment application along with all compliance documents.

What is a charter school?
Charter schools are publicly funded, tuition-free, and open to all students — like traditional public schools, but with the freedom to operate independently of the local district. That flexibility lets a school shape its budget and build a program around a specific focus, such as STEM, the arts, athletics, or a college-prep model. Charter schools are still fully accountable for results and must meet state standards to keep their charter. They strengthen public education by giving more families — especially in underserved communities — access to a high-quality school that fits their child.

Yes — Lincoln Park Academy serves a fresh breakfast and lunch every day, free to students who qualify.

Lincoln Park Academy provides services for students with an IEP or special needs. Just note the IEP on your child's enrollment application, and the principal will review it and determine the right learning plan for your child.
